So you're eating lunch in Will Rice Commons with friends, and somebody suggests going to play a few games of Super Smash. You agree and put away your food before you destroy everybody with your skilz that have been developed by hours of practice. Then, after your 5th KO in the same game, the salty losers accuse you of button mashing. THE NERVE. This is where the Button Masher Counter was born. You needed to clear your name of such heinous accusations. So you built this circuit with a counter as a prototype to prove that you don't button mash any more than your playing partners. The end goal is to wire it to a controller, but your ELEC skilz aren't as honed as your Super Smash skilz. Currently, it simply counts how many times you press a button, with a reset after 9 to 0. Future functionality will include multiple digits. A tilt switch is included so you can tilt the controller to fudge your count. Simply tilt the controller and it'll stop counting ;) because the reality is that you truly do just button mash.
